This photo was taken in my brothers room, it contains items that were either meaningful to him or given to him after his death. The shoes were apart of his concentration project when he was in high school, and the drum symbol was pt down at the sight in honor of his life. This photo took place in his room.
I think this is going to be beautiful and poignant work. Your first photo has a lovely combination of textures and layers of meaning. I love how the cymbal frames the shoes as well. Let me know if you would rather work on this privately or if you are ok with it being on a public forum.
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate your concentration theme first of all, it's a beautiful way to express nostalgia and love. The photo of the shoe and cymbal was very texturized and although they were similar in color, the slight color in the shoes was prominent. I really like your idea, and I think that if you follow the same idea path as your brother with the shoe placement, it would be a really cool idea. Maybe choosing settings that represent moments in the two of your lives together?
